WHAT'S NEW AT VORZIMER, MASSERMAN & ECOFF
The Firm has recently opened an office in New Haven, Connecticut. The New Haven office was opened to assist our East Coast and European couples who are utilizing third party reproduction. With offices in Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, California and New Haven, the Firm is better able to provide convenient nationwide support to its clients.
The Firm is pleased to announce that Shawn Snider-Chapman, Sepy Nosrati and Brandon Nichols have joined the Firm as attorneys.
Ms. Chapman is a nationally renowned trial attorney and lecturer. Her high profile cases have included People v. Orenthal James Simpson and People v. Elmer Geronimo Pratt. Ms. Chapman is a frequent legal commentator on CNN, NBC and Court TV. In addition to her public speaking engagements on topics including high-profile litigation, women in the law and representation of celebrity clients, Ms. Chapman is a visiting faculty lecturer at Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School. Ms. Chapman serves as the chairperson of Firms Entertainment & Sports Law Section. Ms. Nosrati received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles where she graduated Cum Laude. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law. Ms. Nosrati is working in the Firms Civil Litigation Section.
Mr. Nichols comes to the Firm from the Los Angeles County Counsels office where he served as a Deputy County Counsel. Mr. Nichols received his B.A. in Law & Society from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he was on the Deans List. Mr. Nichols obtained his Juris Doctorate from California Western School of Law. A veteran of more than 50 trials, Mr. Nichols works in the Firms Civil Litigation Section.
Andrew Vorzimer traveled to England with professionals from the Center of Surrogate Parenting & Egg Donation to present public seminars and to meet with professionals and media representatives to discuss topical issues involving Surrogacy and Egg Donation. He also met with members of the Australian Parliament to discuss legal reforms in Australia relative to assisted methods of reproduction.
Mr. Vorzimer and Lori Shafton co-authored the article Parenthood in California: Todays Surrogacy and Egg Donation Contracts which appeared in the October issue of the California Lawyer.
